Community Dining Room

Plowshares Community Dining Room serves a free hot meal every day of the week for lunch, open to all. Most of the food used in these meals is donated by local food producers and retailers. Our volunteer cooks and servers are led by trained staff who strive to prepare nutritious food that is rich in whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and organic and GMO free when possible. Our Community Dining Room serves over 71,000 meals a year.

Free hot lunch served:

Monday-Friday.

11:30 – noon – Early seating for families with children and seniors 65+. Open to all.

Saturday & Sunday

3:00 PM. Open to all.

For the first time, Plowshares is open 7 days a week thanks to the weekend help from Seventh-Day Adventist Church, The Hunger Express, The Interfaith Network of Churches, and volunteer groups. With our partnerships, we can finally fulfill a long-held dream of providing meal service 365 days a year!
