Meals-on-Wheels |
|
Hot, nutritious,
freshly prepared Meals-on-Wheels are delivered to disabled, homebound seniors
(age 60 and older) in the Ukiah area five days each week. 90+%
of our seniors tell us that the meals help them stay in their
homes rather than entering an institution. Call 462-8582 for
more information. |

525-hour class in food safety and preparation, job skills, etc.

agencies including Mental Health, Project Sanctuary,
Ford Street Project, Mendocino County Youth

referral to other agencies such as the Ukiah
Community Center and Food Bank, Project Sanctuary,
Department of Social Services, Legal Services, Veterans' Services, etc.

Administering special
events and programs such as the Angel Fund, thrift-store vouchers,
Santa's Toy Shop for
children on Christmas Eve, etc.

Education, through our
monthly newsletter, regarding the political and
personal realities of poverty, hunger and
homelessness - and how to address them.
